Leading lodge manufacturer, Pathfinder, has launched two new holiday lodges for 2022 – the Dusk and Petrichor.

The Pathfinder Petrichor is so special it can only be viewed by appointment exclusively at their Devon showground at the headquarters in Heathfield. This camera-shy holiday lodge is built using recycled and reclaimed materials,  and Pathfinder says it has rustic notes with a modern ‘Soho’ vibe.

Described as one of a kind, created with sustainability at the heart and designed with meticulous attention to detail, Pathfinder says the Petrichor will be a flagship home for many years to come.

This brand-new lodge, with all the modern conveniences offers a deep-rooted story, with every piece of cladding having a background and history of its own.

As you approach the Pathfinder Petrichor there’s immediately a visual outstanding difference. It’s clad entirely of reclaimed timber, with a metal clad roof and external bathtub and shower, which Pathfinder says generates a calm wanderlust mood.

There’s a choice of entry to the Petrichor. Either go through the porch and enter via the utility room, where you’ll find a reclaimed, re-engineered wood floor, plenty of storage and a carefully placed washing machine, or via the built-in courtyard, and straight into the fully tiled wet room floor and refresh under the double shower. Alternatively, you can retire from the hot tub through the sliding patio doors into the open plan kitchen and lounge. Snuggle up for a movie on the large, sumptuous sofa, in front of the Morso Wood Burning Stove.

With a vintage-inspired kitchen design, reclaimed wall panelling, wall lights and individually sourced appliances and tap, this room is equipped perfectly to host your quick bites, small parties, and evening meals.

The Petrichor’s master suite is suitably grand, offering a bedstead with plenty of storage, a walk-in wardrobe, and a ditsy print, plus an interesting multi-pitch ceiling.

The Pathfinder Dusk is perfect for the residential or holiday lodge market. It’s cosy, practical, warm, and thoughtfully designed.

Pathfinder say the Dusk is born from the desire to create a naturally stylish, decorative, and spirited space with plenty of storage solutions throughout and intelligent space-saving design.

The kitchen in the Dusk is one of Pathfinders’ largest, with units and appliances around the whole room. A kitchen island/breakfast bar takes centre stage making this the perfect space for entertaining or using as a practical and stylish marble gloss worktop. This large space has an abundance of appliances which include a high-level oven, integrated microwave, integrated full-height fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher, and ceramic hob.

Next to the kitchen is the utility/boot room with plenty of storage and a carefully placed washing machine (handy to throw in your muddy walking clothes), sink and drying rack.

Leading through the high-level opening from the kitchen to the Dusk’s standalone dining room, you’ll find a table, chairs, and an eye-catching feature wall. The dining room has large French opening doors which allow for a sense of alfresco dining as well as a light and open setting in which to enjoy your meals.

Either side of the hallway is a large double bedroom. Both bedrooms have multiple storage areas with built-in wardrobes and bedside tables, plus the master bedroom comes with a beautifully finished en-suite.

The second bedroom has a dressing table as well as a striking feature wall of cheetah-patterned elephants and gazelles leaping at the sunset!

The Pathfinder Dusk also a dropdown desk allowing for a sealed-off area for specific hobbies/activities or gives you the ideal office space for working from home. Opposite this space is the fully fitted bathroom, featuring a free-standing double-ended bath complete with a heated towel radiator.
