We found a one-bedroom apartment on the Northwest Side of town this week.

More people have been looking to move to San Antonio in 2022. (Especially from Austin!) People are losing homebuying power and San Antonio rents aren't dropping. From finding your perfect new home to negotiating rent prices, searching for an apartment in San Antonio can be quite the experience. Taking inspiration from our sister publication SFGate in San Francisco, MySA is looking at local properties showcasing the best, worst, and everything in between here in the Alamo City. Let's guess the rent.

Enough of the remodeled homes in historic San Antonio neighborhoods. We're moving on. We have found a one-bedroom apartment this week in a developing area on the Northwest Side of San Antonio. Legacy Creekside is just on the outskirts of of the Ingram area at 7210 Potranco Road.

The complex itself looks pretty new, at least like it was built in the last decade. That also means you're typical open space concept when it comes to the main living space. You're getting some decent amenities plus access one of  San Antonio's main highways.

But how much would you expect an 823-square-foot one-bedroom apartment to cost?

An island counter in the kitchen just means more places to sit.

We start at the kitchen covered in wood vinyl flooring and granite countertops with stainless steel appliances. There are the typical can lights in the kitchen, but there's also a lot of natural light.

Another open space concept for this apartment.

From the other side of the room we get a better look at the dining nook tucked away next to the door to a private patio. It helps separate the dining area from the living room despite being an open concept.

There's only one bedroom but it seems spacious enough.

Bedroom is pretty typical. I want to know if we're paying for that accent wall too?

If we get the picture of the dog I'm in.

Now the bathroom. We only get a look at the sink, which looks tiny in comparison to the entire countertop. Whose dog is that in the frame? And why are they in the restroom?

Legacy Creekside comes with plenty amenities.

Other amenities include a fitness center and a pool with cabana spaces.

Take some time to lounge about outside the clubhouse.

You also have access to a club house, a sand volleyball pit, and a dog washing station.

So how much will it cost per month to live in this one-bedroom apartment? The Craigslist post says it will cost $1,399 per month. There is a $400 fee and pets are an extra $15 per month. A one-bedroom apartment costs an average $1,035 per month in the area, according to Zumper.
