Anonymous, 3 hours ago Never bought anything made in india . never will iPhone production has increased in India & decreased in China over the last 5 years. Doesn't really matter where as long as high standards are kept, & lol, some savings are passed on instead of all profit.

Huawei fan - sort of, 4 hours ago everything is made in china boy ... Thats mostly because its a lot cheaper to have factories in china specialy with the very low labor costs.

Anonymous, 3 hours agoYou just came up with a random percentage. That 15% is not just unrealistic but plain false. S... more With teardown you can find where components come from. This is why flagships redmi, nubia, meizu, realme are half price huawei was and honor is now. This is how you see phones at $500-600 in China with "similar " specs compared to those $1100. Easy to save money by using ram, storage, 3rd camera, other sensors (temperature, light, etc), metal frame/plastic body, connectors etc made by local companies. Stuff from USA, South Korea, Japan, Germany, France, UK will never be as cheap as chinese counterparts

Huawei fan - sort of, 4 hours ago everything is made in china boy ... no

Anonymous, 2 hours agoWith the percent of profit this brand makes off from there devices then if that would be left ... more That is very true

Anonymous, 7 hours ago Alright then, buy the made in USA iPhone. I bet you'll be crying at the high prices With the percent of profit this brand makes off from there devices then if that would be left same and be built only in USA then the phone prices probably be in 5 digits

Anonymous, 3 hours ago Never bought anything made in india . never will You clearly sound a bit unstable by repeating the same comment twice for no apparent or logical reason. Just saying. Get help maybe

That 15% is not just unrealistic but plain false. So tell me where does the rest of the 85 % of components come from ? If not china then from where

Rotciv Ikias, 5 hours ago Well too bad for BOE except Apple change their minds what

Samsung is much better. Why? Very user friendly interface. Greatly improved support. Powerful specs. More features. Better camera. And so on.

Nike is an American com... more Yes that is true, most companies have their facilities in China for manufacturing but with a little exception that they have their own factories to make their stuff unlike Apple, that outsources parts, and everything else from other companies. Sensors from Sony, for example, and display from Samsung or BOE and so on. Thus, almost everything inside the iPhones is actually manufactured by someone else and Apple just does the software part on their own. That makes apple the only company to be fully reliant on others to make their hardware. Even the phone assembly is done by some contractor to do that for them. But yes they're slowly moving away from that dependency and eventually will find some other country to manufacture their products

Colosseum, 8 hours ago Where are BOE from? it says in the article if you bother to read it

Hilarious this is now going to cost them millions

Anonymous, 10 hours ago Will a minor circuit width change affect anything in the phone? Like performance, battery etc It's good to live by principles in life. 100% support Apple on this.

Anonymous, 7 hours agoApple won't manufacture anything in their own country because it's cheaper to outsou... more This practice has been going on for over two to three decades already. Nike is an American company that did this back in the 80s. Made in the USA died out by the early-90s. The last product I owned that was made in the USA was my Atari Jaguar (1993). I remember when Sony manufactured their PS1 and PSP, they were Made in Japan. Then they started making them in China. The second PS1 I bought, 9001 model, was made in Mexico. Samsung phones aren't all made in South Korea either. My S7 edge was made in Vietnam. Nokia started having their phones made in China instead of Finland over 15 years ago. Looks to me India will become the new China for cheap labor.
