The Winnetka Presbyterian Church located at 1255 Willow Road just east of Hibbard, is hosting a benefit jazz concert on May 22, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. The event features vocalist Grażyna Auguścik and pianist Ben Lewis (a Glenview resident) who will perform the music of Frédéric Chopin through a beautiful, surprising contemporary lens.

The concert will raise funds for the Refugee Resettlement Program of WPC and help support the Ghulam/Banu family (father/mother and five children, four boys and one girl, ranging in age from 10 years – 2 years old), an Afghan refugee family, now making their home in the Chicago area with help from the Refugee Resettlement Program of Winnetka Presbyterian Church.

Area residents and Winnetka Presbyterian congregation members have been collecting donations for Afghan refugee families who are fleeing violence in their homeland.

A suggested donation of $25 per person would be appreciated.
